Software Support Engineer

Position:   Software Support Engineer

Job Purpose

The Software Support Engineer is responsible for providing software support for a state-of-the-art web-based Enterprise Report Distribution software.  Maintains productive communication with clients.


  • Serve as a main point of contact for customers;
  • Provide entry to mid-level support of state-of-the-art web-based Enterprise Report Distribution software to its customers (will require both the ability to communicate well with the users and the ability to perform entry level code writing);
  • Escalate and replicate complex issues to the software development team;
  • Train users on functionality of software;
  • Assist with testing and releasing new software and deployments;
  • Create and maintain custom programming scripts in Visual Basic, Javascript;


  • Software Development, Computer Science or related degrees;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Good judgment/decision making skills;
  • Ability to work alone and with minimal supervision as well as with a team;
  • Ability to learn and expand knowledge in several languages, including javascript, C#, Visual Basic;
  • A Desire to learn new software languages and learn about the development cycle;
